Position Summary: Efficiently operate sewing machine in support of bedding manufacturing

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently sew individual products per instructions (verbal or written)
• Ability to thread, adjust tension and change needles
• Serger for skirt application – multi needle
• Long arm for quilt repair – single needle
• Notifies Maintenance Department of Potential issues with machines in area of responsibilities
• Ability to adapt to product changes
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Meet plant attendance requirements
• Assist with additional projects as required
• Attention to detail - Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to Operator Report, Quality Checks, line Condition Reports, etc

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Able to lift 25 pounds and stand for 8 hours if required
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Strong interpersonal, human relations, and problem solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work and play hard and smart
