Web Developer

WEB DEVELOPER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain front-end design and coding practices for branded websites
• Develop and implement new website pages and themes on Shopify
• Develop and implement website design updates and changes
• A/B test website features and implement changes based on testing results
• Maintain tidy and well commented code
• Develop, implement, and maintain JavaScript integrations and functions
• Develop and integrate new JavaScript/Jquery functionality
• Ensure all JavaScript/Jquery integration do not conflict and block other code
• Manage pixel and tag integrations via JavaScript/Jquery/IMG tags
• Integrate and maintain 3rd party software and feeds
• Integrate 3rd party software via JavaScript/JQuery
• Maintain data feeds with XML
• Run and manage dynamic marketing software
• Code HTML/CSS based email templates
• Create blueprint flows for email campaigns
• Design and integrate on-site dynamic serving javascript widgets

WEB DEVELOPER ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day work flows for refer-a-friend and eLuxVIP customer engagement programs

WEB DEVELOPER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience and ability to use HTML, CSS, SaSS, Javascript, Jquery, MySQL, PHP, and XML
• Shopify Liquid coding experience is recommended, but not required
• Strong problem-solving skill
• Effective communication skills – written and verbal
• Desire to advance, to learn, and to grow
• Potential to reach a management position

WEB DEVELOPER OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems
• 1 – 2 years of programming experience is recommended, but not required
