4th of July Recipe Ideas and More!

4th of July Recipe Ideas and More!

The Fourth of July is already here! We all know that means outdoor family gatherings, barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, and fireworks-a-plenty to celebrate the day America achieved her independence. And when making plans for the holiday, we all want to be the one who has the recipe that is so good that we don’t have to take leftovers home. Also, if you are throwing the party and everyone is coming to your house, you want to make sure you are properly decorated! Here are some 4th of July recipe ideas and home décor items to make sure that your party is a true blow out!

Is It Really A Party Without Potatoes?

Every party staple is a good potato salad. I’m talking real deal, homemade potato salad, not the store-bought stuff! The key to a great potato salad is the creamy sauce that holds it all together. My signature sauce has sour cream, condensed milk, vinegar or pickle juice, a little mustard, and some secret ingredients that I am not at liberty to discuss. You could try this Bacon Sriracha potato salad from peasandcrayons.com that we came across. It is excellent! This spicy little number is traditional enough, but has a little kick to help make the holiday memorable! And, it goes without saying, Bacon is always a winner!

Is Your Deck Ready for Fireworks Viewing?

Does your deck or patio need an update for this holiday? Add a little pizazz to your home with one of our outdoor patio Mad Mats! We have 7 different patterns and all of those 7 have multiple different color choices. One is sure to speak to you. After your deck has baked in that summer heat all day, it’d be nice to lay one of these down so your guests keep their feet cool and comfortable.

These mats come in a variety of sizes as well (4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’ and 6’x 9’), so no matter how big or small your deck is, there is a size that will work for you! Our mats are also reversible, so you can change the look anytime that you please.

When I Dip, You Dip!

What is a party without the DIP, y’all! You can have chips, but if you don’t have dip, it is not a party. This All American Bacon Cheeseburger Dip from Thecookierookie.com is sure to have your guests licking the bowl. Make sure you have a spoon for ladling this dip to plates or you’re going to have a constant line around the food table. This recipe is one to keep on hand for many years to come.

It’s Hot, so Stay Hydrated!

Ahhhh….Raspberry lemonade. It makes your mouth water just thinking about it, right? This is a drink that everyone can enjoy and you could make a full batch and spilt it in half, alcoholic and non- alcoholic. This raspberry lemonade recipe from the Foodnetwork.com is sure to quench the thirst of your guests and comes from the true experts in food and drink. And, it is super patriotic in color! You could even make some blue ice cubes to add that extra 4th of July feeling.

Sweet Treats for the 4th

What is a 4th of July celebration without desserts that set your taste buds ablaze with their amazing sweetness? And what a better way to enjoy dessert than doing it while watching your calorie intake. You can have your cheesecake and eat it too without the carbs of the crust! These Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries found at DessertNowDinnerLater.com would sure add that taste of victory for your 4th of July bash. They top them with a blueberry, which gives you that red, white and blue to stay “on theme”!

Leave a Luxurious Impression

Your guests will be over, fireworks will be lit off, and outside is where most of your guests will be for the majority of the evening. Where is the other most common place your guests will travel? The bathroom, of course! Let them dry their hands with the eLuxury 900 GSM long staple hand towels to add a little class to the facilities.  Our towels are incredibly soft and super absorbent and will leave your guests with a great impression of your household. We have a plethora of colors to choose from, so we’re positive that one will strike your fancy.

Whether you’re the host or the guest with the most, we here at eLuxury hope you and your family have a safe and Happy 4th of July. Please feel free to comment your favorite BBQ recipe or tradition below!
